Spa & Wellness centre of the hotel was designed and built with the kind assistance of German professionals and occupies a space of 1200 square metres, including the swimming pools. The centre offers unique SPA procedures with high quality products and therapies on the basis of the main elements: water, earth, air and fire. Part of the SPA procedures you can enjoy are: Hamam, Rasoul, massage baths, Cleopatra baths, Saunas - Biosauna and Finnish Sauna, Aroma steam bath, hot lounges, Volcano room, Action showers, body therapies with chocolate, honey, milk, oils and herbs, coffee, soya and grape; hot stone massage, luxurious face therapies as well as special therapies for men.

The mineral water of Velingrad is famous and recognized outside Bulgaria. Its salutary effect and healing characteristics have been known for ages on end. The mineral water in Velingrad was used first by the ancient Thracian tribes as early as the fifth century BC, later by Romans. From times immemorial the mineral water is a source of life. The water used in the swimming pools and SPA centre of Grand Hotel Velingrad is from the mineral spring “Velingrad-Chepino”. The springs in Chepino are with low temperature that ranges between 32 and 47,5 C and also have large debit. Nowadays thermal springs are place to restore and reinvigorate both the body and the mind. Mineral water is useful for health and for beauty being a source of emotional heat and pure pleasure.

The hotel offers 4 swimming pools with mineral water. Indoor: swimming half the Olympic size one (22mx10m) and children’s one as well as large Jacuzzi. Outdoor: hot winter one and hot summer one.
