The RILA hotel complex is located at Semkovo ski resort, in the slopes of the Rila mountain amidst centennial pine forests and ample sunny glades. Semkovo is 1600 m above sea level, some 15 km from the town of Belitza, and some 160 km from Sofia airport. The Rila comprises two hotel blocks with 193 units including 21 apartments/studios (total of 480 beds). The hotel also offers a spacious atrium style lobby with games, a restaurants, night bar, coffee lounge, indoor swimming pool, sauna, massage, hydro massage, gym, ski depot, extensive convention facilities including 4 multifunctional medium sized conference rooms and the Semkovo conference hall with a capacity of 250 seats. |

| The winter season lasts over 5 months – from December to May, with a snow cover thicker than 1.5m. The average annual temperatures vary from 7,5° N to 9,5°N, January being the coldest month with an average of -5,9° C. Semkovo offers six ski runs with a total length of 4.5 km, including three ski runs on the Northern slopes, with all ranges of difficulty. The ski runs are serviced by eight draglifts. |

The hotel is a starting point for mountain hiking routes to the stupendous scenery of the RILA National park. From the nearest lodge, SEMKOVO, marked hiking trails lead to other lodges and natural phenomena, with distances in hours as follows: Dobarsko lodge - 4,30 hrs;Macedonia - 3,00hrs; Ribni ezera ( Rila lakes) lodge - 5,00 hrs; Granchar lodge - 6,00 hrs; Treshtenik lodge- 3,30 hrs; Vapski ezera - 3,00 hrs; Suhoto ezero (Dry lakes) - 1,30 hrs; Skalishki (Rocky lakes) ezera - 2,30 hrs. |
