Hotel Hyunday is only half an hour's drive from the city of Sofia. It is situated on the way to “Aleko”, Bulgaria 's highest ski resort. The hotel was built in 1963 by the enthusiastic efforts of the workers and employees of Vassil Kolarov Engineering Plant as a rest house. Later it was reconstructed into a hotel and called Hyunday after the name of the main shareholder of the recently privatized Power Engineering Plant.
